Pony League Player Draft will be Monday, February 13. Players will be notified after the draft which team they were selected by. 14 year old returning players will still have time to register to return to their 2011 Pony team.
2012 Santa Cruz Pony Baseball Registration
For the 2011 Season Santa Cruz PONY Baseball will use the "And Under" rule for play. If your player will not yet be league age 13 and wishes to tryout for Pony League they may do so this year. Santa Cruz PONY Baseball has adopted this rule for Pony, Colt and Palomino League baseball teams. If your player was born up to two years before the April 30 cutoff date for the division they wish to play in they may tryout for the upper level of play. For example: If your player was born May 1, 2001 or after they may tryout for the Pony League level of play.
2012 Santa Cruz Pony Baseball Registration is now available below. You can print the registration and send it to Santa Cruz Pony Baseball at P.O. Box 3386, Santa Cruz, CA 95063. Don't forget to include your child's birth certificate, current proof of residency ( utility bill ) and appropriate registration fees for the 2012 season.
If your child played at Santa Cruz, San Lorenzo Valley or Scotts Valley Little League then you are in the Santa Cruz Pony Baseball District.
Please do not use the online registration. Santa Cruz Pony League Player Draft will be held February 13. Your player will be notified after the draft which team they were selected for. There is still time for returning players to sign up for another year of Pony League Baseball.
Santa Cruz Colt League Allstar Sectional Tournament Santa Cruz Red had their second loss in the Regional Playoffs for the Colt League World Series losing to Pacifica on Saturday. Congratulations to the players and coaches for a great season. Pony League Pony 13 Allstars lost July 11 to Napa for their second loss of the Allstar Tournament in Campbell.
